Orhionmwon APC Endorses Terry Igiebor as Consensus Candidate for Assembly Seat

Leaders and executives of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Orhionmwon Local Government Area of Edo State have unanimously endorsed Amb. Terry Igiebor as the party’s consensus candidate for the Orhionmwon South Constituency seat ahead of the forthcoming Edo State House of Assembly election.

The endorsement was announced during a stakeholders’ meeting convened by the APC Chairman in Orhionmwon and Leader of the Local Government, Rt. Hon. Patrick Aisowieren.

The meeting attracted ward chairmen, women and youth leaders, party elders, executives and other critical stakeholders from across the constituency.

Addressing party faithful at the gathering, APC leaders described Igiebor as a loyal, competent and grassroots-oriented party member whose commitment to party unity and community development distinguished him as the preferred choice for the constituency.

Stakeholders disclosed that the decision followed extensive consultations among party leaders and members across the various wards in Orhionmwon South, culminating in a broad consensus in support of his candidature.

Speaking further, the APC chairman noted that the endorsement reflected the collective will of party faithful in the local government and was aimed at consolidating unity within the party while positioning the APC for victory in the forthcoming election.

Rt. Hon. Patrick Aisowieren commended members for their maturity, unity and sense of purpose, urging all stakeholders to support the consensus arrangement in the overall interest of both the constituency and the party.

Responding to the endorsement, Amb. Terry Igiebor expressed gratitude to the party leadership and supporters for the confidence reposed in him, pledging to remain committed to the ideals and vision of the APC.

He assured party faithful that, if elected, his representation would be anchored on inclusive leadership, youth empowerment, infrastructural development and people-oriented legislation geared towards improving the welfare and living standards of constituents in Orhionmwon South.
