Conveners Intensify Consultations for Phase Two of Edo Security Initiative

The conveners of the recently concluded Security Town Hall Meeting themed “Community Responsibility and Collaborative Action for a Safer Edo State,” Hon. Comr. Inegbenehi Iziegbe Sylvester and Hon. Christian Okojie, have intensified consultations aimed at strengthening security advocacy and community engagement across Edo State.

As part of preparations for the rollout of Phase Two of the Security Town Hall initiative, scheduled to hold in Edo Central, the conveners paid a courtesy and consultation visit to His Lordship, CJ Okubowa, to seek collaborative support for the forthcoming engagement.

The visit highlighted the growing need for collective responsibility and stronger stakeholder collaboration in addressing security challenges within communities. 

Discussions focused on strengthening partnerships among community leaders, institutions, and relevant stakeholders to promote peace, stability, and a safer society.

The meeting was described as productive and fulfilling, reflecting a shared commitment to sustaining meaningful dialogue and coordinated actions that encourage security awareness and community development.

On behalf of the Centre for Moral Value and Justice, appreciation was extended to His Lordship for his warm reception, support, and willingness to collaborate in advancing initiatives aimed at promoting a safer Edo State.

The Centre reaffirmed its commitment to promoting moral values, justice, and community-driven initiatives capable of delivering lasting impact across the state.
