Eid-el-Kabir: Edo Lawmaker Iyamu Urges Unity, Peaceful Coexistence

The member representing Orhionmwon South Constituency in the Edo State House of Assembly, Hon. Bright Iyamu, has extended warm felicitations to Muslim faithful in Orhionmwon South Constituency, Edo State and across Nigeria on the occasion of Eid el-Kabir celebration.

Iyamu described the festival as a significant period that reflects the enduring values of sacrifice, obedience, compassion and unwavering faith, stressing that such virtues remain critical to building a peaceful and progressive society.

In a goodwill message made available to journalists, the lawmaker called on citizens to embrace tolerance, mutual respect and unity irrespective of religious or political differences.

According to him, sustainable development can only thrive in an atmosphere of peace, mutual understanding and collective responsibility among the people.

He urged residents of Orhionmwon South Constituency and Nigerians at large to sustain the spirit of love, harmony and peaceful coexistence which the Eid-el-Kabir season represents.

Iyamu further wished Muslim faithful a joyous and spiritually rewarding celebration, while praying for continued peace, progress and prosperity across Orhionmwon South Constituency, Edo State and the country at large.
