Edo AFAN Youth Leader Comrade Edosa Salutes Farmers, Calls for Stronger Collaboration in 2026

The Youth Leader of the All Farmers Association of Nigeria (AFAN), Edo State Chapter, Comrade Farmer Edosa Unity Henry, has extended heartfelt appreciation and New Year greetings to farmers across Edo State and Nigeria, members of the business community, and the Edo State Government.

In a New Year message, Henry—who is also the Managing Director of Emedos Group—commended farmers for their resilience, dedication, and unwavering contributions to food security and economic development.

“As the Youth Leader of AFAN, Edo State Chapter, I wish to commend our hardworking farmers for their resilience, dedication, and unwavering contribution to food security and economic development,” he said.

According to him, the New Year presents a renewed opportunity for unity, growth, and progress within the agricultural sector. He called for strengthened collaboration among farmers, agribusinesses, investors, and government institutions to boost youth participation in agriculture.

Henry emphasized the need to improve access to finance, promote modern farming practices, ensure farmers’ security, and enhance agricultural infrastructure across Edo State.

He also expressed appreciation to the Edo State Government for its efforts in agricultural development and youth empowerment, urging sustained partnerships that will increase productivity, create employment opportunities, and improve livelihoods.

“I wish all farmers, businesses, and the people of Edo State a New Year filled with peace, good health, abundant harvests, and prosperity,” he added.
