Okpella TV CEO, Mary Omokhagbor, wins Female Media Personality of the Year Award

The Chief Executive Officer, Okpella TV, Mary Onoge Omokhagbor has bagged the female media personality of the year award at Afemai 2024 Beauty Pageant.

The award was bestowed on her after scaling through thorough scrutiny of selected female media personalities who also bid for the same award.

The award was given to her by Amidat Ilegar Austine (CEO, Miss Afemai)

Mary Omokhagbor is a highly accomplished media executive, who hails from Okpella, Edo State Nigeria. She was born into the family of Pastor & Mrs Thomas Omokhagbor, February in Badagry, Lagos State. 

Mary has achieved a strong educational background in Music Technology, Broadcast Journalism, and Mass Communication, She has established herself as a leading figure in the Nigerian media landscape.

Her love for advocacy inspired the creation of Okpella TV, serving as a voice to the voiceless. Some of her achievements are: Raising funds to Naishat Mustafa, the incredible girl with no arms, also Peter with Dislocated knee, Esther Brai, free annual Christmas party for children in Okpella, promoting culture and more. She has also helped young fellows in her community to discover purpose in life. 

Okpella TV's impact has cut across Edo State, currently penetrating other states of Nigeria.

Currently, she owns a Masters Degree in Mass Communication from the Edo State University Iyamho.
