Disgrace as Spanish embassy denies Nigerian players visas

The Nigerian U15 boys also known as Future Eagles have suffered a setback in their quest to participate in the UEFA U-16 development tournament in Spain as the Spanish Embassy has denied them visas.
The development was disclosed through an official statement issued by the Nigeria Football Federation via its official channels on Monday..
NFF wrote, “Players and officials of the Nigeria U15 team, Future Eagles, have been denied visas by the Spanish Embassy and will therefore not be travelling to take part in the UEFA U16 Development Tournament starting on Friday.”
The boys were earlier scheduled to depart on Tuesday for Spain, were billed to compete against formidable opponents including Belgium on Friday, April 12 (8pm), Italy on Sunday, April 14 (8pm), and England on Wednesday, April 17 (1pm).
The delegation representing the Future Eagles is led by Zannah Malah, a prominent member of the NFF Technical and Development Committee, and it consists of 20 players.
