Edo 2024: Dr. Asue Ighodalo, An Inspiring Example of Leadership Legacies -Zaks

A Leader of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in ward 7, Oredo Local Government Area of Edo State, and Managing Director, Zaks Bulls Enterprises, Mr. Zaks Ali, today said Dr. Asuen Ighodalo exemplifies an inspiring example of a consensus-oriented leadership ahead of the party primaries election slated for Thursday 22 February 2024.

He said Dr Asuen's unwavering commitment to social justice, empowering individuals, institutions and communities and advocating for social change reflects his genuine belief in the power of collective decision-making. 

Mr. Ali said Asuen has successfully created an environment that values every individual's voice and works towards a common objective.

"Dr. Asuen Ighodalo consensus-oriented leadership style offers a pathway to foster unity, collaboration, and ultimately, prosperity"

According to him, Dr. Asuen government promises inclusivity in governance that will engenders shared vision and collective, translates to overall  socio economic growth. With this way, Edo people would be consulted and carried along in every step of the way and consequently be involved in governance of the state and ultimately state projects and programs become the peoples projects.

He therefore urged all the party's faithful to nominate and support Dr Asuen Ighodalo For Edo 2024 Governorship election.

Stop proposed Caretaker Committee inauguration, Edo assembly tells NLC president

By  Elvis Omoregie, Benin  Edo State House of Assembly yesterday passed a resolution calling on the President of the Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, Comrade Joe Ajaero, to shelve the proposed leadership change of the present NLC Exco in Edo State.  The resolution which a motion raised by the Majority leader, Hon. Jonathan Ibhamawu following reports of a planned inauguration of a caretaker committee in the state. Presenting the motion Hon. Ologbo Traditional Leadership: Chief Iyase Rejects Purported Installation of Olare-Aja

By Elvis Omoregie  The Okao Nore-Guae overseeing Ologbo, Ehor and Okhuoromi communities in Edo State, Chief Emma Iyase, has warned against what he described as efforts to establish a parallel traditional authority in Ologbo, rejecting the reported installation of Pa Johnson Obubu Itoto as the Olare-Aja of the community. Speaking on the development, Chief Iyase said the installation, reportedly carried out on May 30, 2026, was unknown to Benin customs and traditions and constituted a violation of the recognized traditional authority structure of the Benin Kingdom.
