Christmas: Alenkhe felicitates with Christians, Edo journalists

The chairman of the Nigeria Union Of Journalists,  Edo state council, Comrade Festus Alenkhe has sent a message of felicitation to Christians in the state and Edo journalists on Christmas. 

In the message personally signed and made available to Newsmen, Comrade Festus Alenkhe described the season as a time where Christians should rededicate their lives to God.

He said, Christmas should be used as an avenue for the people to forgive others and spread the works and messages of the risen Christ.

Comrade Alenkhe also prayed to God for a continuous and sustained peace in Edo State as he wished everyone especially friends of the media a fruitful and eventful 2024.

He reminded Journalists in Edo State  on the need to remain neutral as the 2024 Governorship election in Edo State draws near.

Comrade Festus Alenkhe assured that the Edo State council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists will  create a template for a situation room towards ensuring that Journalists in the state comply with the ethics of the Journalism profession ahead of the Governorship election.
