Be Dedicated To Duty Newly Appointed Permanent Secretary Urges Staff

The newly appointed Permanent Secretary of Ministry of Communication and Orientation, Dr. Desmond Agbama has Urged Staff of the ministry towards dedication to duty.
Dr. Agbama made the charged during his maiden meeting with members of staff, while urging for dedication and punctuality, harping on the need for staff to be of good conduct, as all Civil Servants in the Ministry are representatives of Government in the outside world.
The ministry boss advised every member of staff to see themselves as change agents in the Obaseki led administration with the responsibility of creating awareness and the right orientation in the minds of Edo people.
The Permanent Secretary further emphasized on the need for synergy among staff across various departments, noting that the principle of collaboration and team work will help to achieve the goals and objectives of the Ministry.
Dr. Agbama assured that he would do all in his power to ensure that every member of staff realizes his full potential, adding that every activity would be carried out following due process.
Some staff who spoke include Mr. Terry Isaacs Idahor who congratulated the Permanent Secretary on his appointment while appealing for a synergy between the Ministry and it's parastatals in order to foster a harmonious working atmosphere.
Also speaking Mr. Peter Ewvotohkhai a member of the Orientation Department appealed to the Permanent Secretary to ensure that the department is fully equipped, such that one on one Orientation programmes can be organized, as this will improve the quality of Orientation programmes in the Ministry.
